I am a third-year PhD student in the Department of Psychology, specializing in EEG, perception, and alcohol research. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my master's in Statistical Research Methods at the University of Liverpool, giving me the necessary statistical background for these courses. My primary tools include R for statistical tests, data visualizations, and simulations; MATLAB for implementing algorithms and conducting time-frequency analyses; SPSS for simple statistical tests; and Excel for data organization. Additionally, I have extensive experience using G*Power and R for determining sample sizes, as well as Python for experimental control and data visualization. I can also provide assistance with Bayesian statistics.
Although my background is in Psychology, I am happy to meet with students from all disciplines. I can offer general statistical advice as well as specific assistance with analyses, data visualizations, sample size calculations, and data simulations.
